現行版V.5 最有Leica味的
優點:
體積細，built-in hood，6 bit code，利而唔界手，以現代版本來看，這是最有奶味的一支標頭。
缺點:
價錢貴

我無買過，只係係二手舖玩過，
同場有得比較ver1，2，4+M50f2.5！
無得比較ver真係好難試，因環境光暗&角度！
有幸同場可測試，邊支正講嚟無用，個個C兄要求唔同
，只可話四支都有質素(我自己覺50f2ver2，4，M50f2.5解像好接近，但影出嚟有光暗唔同㗎，且因唔同會影響顏色，及鏡片保養情度會影響結果)，4支都保養得好好，吹水吹乜都得，實踐試過先知
，我有感而發Leica係要同場比試，單一支小弟試唔到，要帶多支比較，及淨係係室內試唔真！

優點:
It is a true "Standard Lens". I mean that Leica 50mm summicron sets out a standard of how a 50mm lens should be. A simple symmetric 6 elements in 4 groups design exhibits excellent optical performance:- nearly no distortion, natural color, well balance in resolution and contrast. A true general purpose standard lens.
缺點:
Optical performance at wide opening (i.e. aperture F/2) is not up to modern standard of Leica such as 50mm F1.4 ASPH or 75mm F2 ASPH.
評價:
In comparing with Zeiss ZM 50mm F2 and Konica hexanon-M 50mm F2 (they are on par with Leica), my personal opinion is that Zeiss is better in portrait photography because T* renders beautiful color of skin tone and subject more pop up from the backgroup; Konica give vivid color and shaper at wide opening; Leica has better overall balance in various aspects of optical qualities (color, sharpness, distortion, ...etc).
