Spent a week in Taipei during which typhoon Trami 潭美 came in with full force. Late in August and after the typhoon, mos of the lotus flowers were gone except a few die hards. And this die hard had particularly stronger color than the usual light pink of lotus.

It is a pity that Nikon and Canon do not make weather resistant (WR) lens. I found this is very convenient, and it was such fun to shoot during the typhoon Trami in Taipei !

In a big hurry, I put my camera in Tv mode and shot a few clicks without thinking too much. The Pentax 18-135 mm WR lens is such an all-around lens that I did not bother to swap lens at all. And I am quite happy with this bokeh. By the way, the focal length was 172 mm film equivalent.
