2009 年 6月買機時以 $3300 o既價錢，性價比好高，如果唔駛追求高階 DSLR o既相片質數，呢部機係可用較低價錢玩到好多o野，而且機身都唔算太大太重，拎出街都較方便。

26倍zoom即26至676mm無敵焦距有咩好講呢? 雖然比其他24倍只係多少少, 不過功能上也十分滿意, Scene多不過相同功能又多有重疊, 對焦算係快, 與570相比冇左Hot-shoe換左無線閃燈各有好處, 相質18倍以下都係ok既, 18倍以上開始有點散...

優點:
after use the camera for 2 weeks, I found is is a very funny machine, has Beauty mode, B shutter, remote cable release, 26x zoom (before I bought it, I think this is not commonly use, but I told you, I am wrong), etc.

缺點:
colour and sharpness have to fine tune, the default setting is not really good
power hungry, a full set of Alkaline battery only for about 150 shots, and 2100mAh rechargeable battery almost the same!
Most terrible is the battery cover, it stuck! Now, my SP-590 is in Olympus service center!

In general, I like this cam, in terms of function and feature it better than entry level DSLR with lower price, except the battery compartment, take care, not all AA battery can be used for this cam (user manual mentioned, but no warning for stucking battery cover)
