I've used this lens for both street snaps and studio works, it has proved to be well capable. It is very good that the F1.2 is usable and no focus shift throughout the close to infinity focus range. The bokeh is nice and smooth, without any messy feeling. It is big and heavy but I can live with it on M9. The supplied metal hood is well built and very useful for protecting the front element of the lens. For the same amount of money, one can hardly find any other lens that has the same performance and character. I would highly recommend this one and would rate it as the best lens of Cosina Voigtlander yet today. Cheers~

Obviously the usable largest aperture F1.2 is it\'s strength. At F1.2, it creates unique characterized image that NO other lenses can do.
Very high quality optics.
Cheap price when you consider it\'s specification.

Large size and quite heavy. The lens barrel blocks users\' view through view finder of RF camera prominently.

It is a very fine lens that comparable to Leica.
Noticeable fall-off of light and a bit softness near edges of images during wide open usually be regarded as weakness of a lens, However, if photographers can make use of such characters to highlight key elements at the cantral part of the images, the weakness would become a strength to deliver impressive images.
